In the end of the latter one, there’s a moving scene where Captain Jack Harkness and Captain Jack Harkness, as in Torchwood’s Jack and the 1940s Jack (Watch the full episode to see what I mean), dance and kiss in the end. I shared it above.
The BBC really know how to make beautiful, well-written shows. Whether those are action or sci-fi shows like Doctor Who and Torchwood, or comedy shows like Gavin & Stacey.
One last note: Isn’t John Barrowman an awesome person? He’s a great actor, he’s incredibly hot and he’s a great person. Did I mention he’s incredibly hot?
I just cried a little. Was it the music? Or the fact that it’s taking place in the 1940’s?
